I eat a mainly vegan diet, but have not yet weaned myself from eggs (free-range, organic), butter, and labane.
I love to shop at farmers markets, not only for the fresh and varied produce, but also for the personal connection with the growers and sellers.
I was raised on white bread, pop tarts, canned vegetables and fried chicken, and I am happy to say that I left those foods behind a long time ago.
I especially like cooking soups, stews, breads, and yummy nutritious desserts!
